Previously Pluto is an experimental games company & artist coalition based out of Philadelphia. Their goal is to develop experimental games across a wide variety of mediums, from traditional card games to radically immersive VR games. That mission statement alone is what first drew us to Previously Pluto when we first met their founder and (as he puts it) All-Rounder, Ken Oum and PAX Unplugged earlier this year.
Their latest project is "The Big Shuffle", a competitive film noir inspired card game in which 2 - 4 players go head-to-head in an effort to beat out their friends by completing their characters' agenda first. The game is fast-paced, exciting, and above all, incredibly thematic. Just look at some of these cards!
And we weren’t the only one’s lured in by The Big Shuffle’s appeal. They were fully funded only 26 hours after the launch of their kickstarter campaign! As of writing this, the campaign has amassed over $25,000 in crowdfunding and smashed through four of it’s stretch goals to offer gorgeous, top notch quality components and its first expansion!
Cleromancy Games has partnered with Previously Pluto to help with the final development run of their game. Our goal is to help put on the final touches of this already stellar game and make sure it plays as smoothly as possible when it’s sent out to it’s backers later this year.
This is a really exciting project, and the Cleromancy team is excited to be a part of it!
